Inter-Continental Christian University
Complete your online application. The
first step is always the hardest, but
you are on your way!
STEP
2:
Decide
how you will pay the
application/registration fee of
$110.00. ICCU offers convenient payment
choices, such as MasterCard, Visa,
Discover, American Express and ATM/debit
card payments over the phone. You may
call 1-800-509-7009 to speak with Hope
C. Meza or Dr. Melinda Thomas to
complete this process. You may also
mail your payment in the form of a
personal check, cashier’s check or money
order to PO Box 3979, Merced, CA 95344.
Should
you have any questions regarding the
application/registration payment or
tuition in general, please call
1-800-509-7009.
STEP
3:
Prepare
a portfolio with the guidelines
attached. Also attached you will find a
transcript request form to submit to the
necessary institutions. Please be sure
that all official transcripts are
forwarded to ICCU. Transferred
credit from an accredited institution
may significantly reduce the total cost
of your tuition. Credits obtained from
non accredited institutions may
also be taken into consideration for the
purpose of possible assessed
credits.
Transferred Credits vs. Assessed
Credits:
Transferable credits are drawn from
accredited institutions and may lower
the cost of your tuition.
Assessed credits are drawn from non
accredited institutions as well as
lifetime learning and ministry
experience. The Lord’s work is not
without rewards! Be sure to note on
your registration package that you would
like your assessment to include lifetime
learning and ministry experience.
Your
total registration package should
include the following:
-
Online Application
-
Application/Registration Fee
-
Resume/Portfolio
-
Official Transcripts
-
Unofficial
Transcripts
-
Any Certificates,
Diplomas or Awards
STEP
4:
An
academic advisor will be assigned to
your prospective student file. Once
this has been done, you may be contacted
to provide further information. Should
everything be in order, your file will
be given to the Executive Board of
Supervisors for approval. This process
may take up to 10 days.
When
approved, you will receive your
acceptance letter along with a Student
Tuition Covenant Agreement (aka Covenant
Agreement) noting your transferable
credits, assessed credits and total
tuition price. This Covenant Agreement
will be sent to you via email, fax or
postal mail.
Once
you have received the Covenant
Agreement, review it for accuracy of
personal information and program
choice. Place an “X” in the boxes next
to the programs to acknowledge you have
read and understood them.
When
you fill in the center portion of the
Covenant Agreement, you acknowledge your
total tuition price, let us know your
down payment amount and agree to a
monthly payment of no less than $100.00
per month. There is no limit to the
amount you may choose to pay per month.
At the
bottom of the Covenant Agreement, you
have the option to take advantage of
ICCU’s no interest automatic
payment plan. Many of our students love
this option due to the ease and
convenience. You never have to worry
about calling in late or worrying about
your check getting lost in the mail.
This flexible program allows students
the freedom to proceed with their chosen
degree program while fulfilling their
tuition requirements.
Time is
of the essence. You are given 30 days
in which to sign and return the Student
Tuition Covenant Agreement locking in
their tuition price. As costs of
tuition go up, you, as the student have
peace of mind in knowing that your
tuition price is locked.
STEP
5:
Once
ICCU has received your signed
Student Tuition Covenant Agreement, you
will be sent your course study and
outline guide. All you have to do now is
complete your program. Once all
academic and financial requirements have
been met, you will receive your degree.
Congratulations!
