MIN 155 BEGINNING HOMILETICS (3)
This course defines expository
preaching, then gives a step by step process of preparing
and preaching an expository sermon, showing how to derive a
sermon structure from the biblical text.
MIN 206 PERSONAL EVANGELISM (3)
This course covers the biblical
foundations of evangelism, conversion and regeneration, how
to lead a person to a decision for Christ, age-specific
techniques, team efforts, visitation, mentoring new
believers, and the importance of prayer in the entire
process of evangelism.
MIN 209 WOMEN IN MINISTRY (3)
This course surveys a number of leading scholars on the
subject of women in ministry and provides an analysis for
their future and discussion on the cultural reality that
faces women who choose to enter the male dominated corridors
of ministry
MIN 401 PRINCIPLES OF CHURCH ADMINISTRATION (3)
This courses an overview of
principles of church administration. Topics will be focused
on organizational structuring and management. Special
emphasis will be placed on pastor’s/manager’s role.

MIN 422 THE LEADER’S CALLING (3)
This course presents how to
discover your personal life calling from God. It is
presented within the context of God’s expressed desire to
reach the world through us. Thus, sessions 1-3 focus on
knowing God’s desire, His plan, and His call to mankind.
Session 4 then teaches principles to discover your specific
call. Finally, sessions 5-7 discuss the preparing, testing,
and timing processes of your calling.
MIN 423 THE LEADER’S EXAMPLE (3)
This course presents our model
example, Jesus Christ, and explores His discipleship
methods. Learning from His methods, a five-phase
discipleship model is introduced and explained. The five
phases of discipleship are as follows: 1) Coming to Jesus,
2)Following Jesus, 3)Being like Jesus, 4) Abiding in Jesus,
and 5) Going for Jesus. Enemies and obstacles to
discipleship are also explores, with the accompanying
spiritual counteractions.
MIN 424 LEADING WITH THE WORD (3)
Leading with the Word provides seven 50-minute lessons on
how to better communicate the Word by conceiving it in our
hearts and allowing it to grow to maturity and reproduce.
MIN 426 THE LEADER’S POTENTIAL (3)
This course presents three key
areas for enabling a ministry leader to reach his fullest
leadership potential: 1) living a balanced life, 2)
discovering and releasing spiritual gifts, and 3)
discovering and understanding personality types. It is a
tool to help leaders find their PLACE (Personality, Likes &
Love, Availability, Charismata Gifts, and Experience) in
ministry, unlocking their fullest potential.
MIN 505 LEADING WITH OUTREACH (3)
This module is unique in several
ways. It is a training tool to equip Christian leaders to
train other Christians for evangelistic outreach. This
material also challenges and inspires leaders to personally
reach their fullest potential.
MIN 506 LEADER’S FREEDOM (3)
This is an inward growth module
geared towards helping Christian leaders gain spiritual
freedom and victory in their lives. Often leaders get
"stuck" in some part of their spiritual development,
struggling to get past patterns of defeat that have plagued
them for a long time. In this module we will walk through
seven important Biblical principles that can bring a new
measure of Christ’s freedom to their lives - releasing
leaders from past bondages, allowing them to break through
to new levels of ministry potential.
MIN 507 LEADING WITH TEAMS (3)
This course is unique in several ways. It is a training tool
to equip Christian leaders to train other Christians for
team leadership. This material also challenges and inspires
leaders to personally reach their fullest potential as team
leaders.
