BIB 201A THE
PENTATEUCH (3)
An in-depth study of the five books of Moses. The study includes
creation, Abraham’s covenant and legacy, as well as God’s
revelations to Moses and His people as they traveled to
Canaan.
BIB 203 OLD TESTAMENT LITERATURE (3)
In
this study, several Old Testament books are looked at
closely. The books studied include
Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, and
Lamentations. The books set a tone for the different
periods of Israelite history. A more intimate look at key
personalities of the Old Testament.
BIB 205A THE GOSPELS (3)
An
examination of the synoptic Gospels as well as the gospel of
John. Differences between the synoptic Gospels and John are
discussed as well as the significance of the virgin birth,
Christ’s ministry, and His death. Prophecies are fulfilled
and miracles are performed.
BIB 207 ACTS/II CORINTHIANS (3)
This
course chronicles the many mission journeys of Paul as well
as several of his letters to the new churches. The course
addresses the commencement of the Christian Church and the
difficulties faced amongst the new believers and within
doctrine.
BIB 301 THE POST EXILIC PERIOD (3)
A
study of Israel following her release of captivity in
Babylon. The persecution and other struggles of the
Israelites while rebuilding the Temple are discussed as well
as a review of earlier Old Testament books.
BIB 413 GALATIANS & II TIMOTHY (3)
A
study of the Books of Galatians through II Timothy. Many
controversies within the new Church are discussed and
resolutions established.
BIB 503 BIBLICAL PROPHECY (3)
The
several types of prophesy are distinguished from one another
and discussed in detail. Also discussed are the prophesies
of Daniel, about and by Christ, and an overview of the book
of revelation.
BIB 512 THE KINGDOM PERIOD (3)
This
study traces the Kings of Israel beginning with Saul in I
Samuel and concluding in II Chronicles. The course
chronicles the blessings and hardships that accompany being
ruled by a king as well as the changes that occurred in
Israel during these periods.
