Growing Toward Spiritual
Maturity
Growing Toward Spiritual Maturity - A strategy for growing toward
Christlikeness must be based on the actual ways that people grow and develop
into maturity in Christ. Through identifying and understanding how we grow
spiritually, we become more intentional in our use of time and methods.
Sunday School Ministry:
The Church At Study
Sunday School Ministry - This course clarifies the traditional
purposes, functions, and organization of the local church program known as
Sunday School. Covers all aspects of the ministry of bringing children, youth,
and adults to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, enriching their Christian
lives, and preparing them to serve Christ.
Teaching Adults with Confidence
Scheduled for availability Spring 2004

training for those who are teaching the Bible to adults. Course sessions answer

characteristics of adults at various stages of life? How do adults learn and how
should they be taught? What are the key principles for organizing and growing
adult Sunday School classes?
Teaching Preschoolers with Confidence
Scheduled for availability Fall 2004
Teaching Preschoolers With Confidence - The tender and critical years

Teaching Techniques
Teaching Techniques focuses on the philosophical basis of methodology,
insights from current research, an overview of classroom usage, and principles
of selection for specific purposes and audiences. It is a companion to
Teaching Youth With
Confidence
Teaching Youth With Confidence - What are we trying to do with our
teenagers? If this question was posed to a number of youth workers and teachers,
a variety of answers would surely be given, and it is rather certain that most
of the answers would be in some manner on target. However, it seems clear the
one overall purpose of youth education is to fulfill the biblical mandate from
Christ to change lives by making disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).
Understanding Teaching
Understanding Teaching - A biblical understanding of teaching brings
appreciation for this spiritual gift. Approaching this task biblically involves
empowerment from the Holy Spirit, insight into God's Word, sharp communication
skills, and accurate interaction with students. Companion volume to
Teaching Techniques.
Understanding Music & Worship
Understanding Music & Worship is written with the lay person in mind
and focuses on the important role of these two elements in the life of the
church. It provides a historical overview of music and worship, biblical
foundations for both, and practical instruction on how to renew both within the
local church.

creative expression of faith, concentrated Bible study, evangelism, and family
